1. Remove all toxic People
We all have had toxic people in our life, but it’s time to officially cut them off. Toxic people cause unnecessary stress that you don’t need in your life. Take the first step in living a stress-free life by letting that ish go.
2. Eat Healthy & Exercise
Make sure that you eat breakfast daily, take multivitamins, drink 6-8 glasses of water daily, and pack snacks for when you get hungry throughout the day. According to ‘Mind So Other Therapy Center’, exercise is also a great way to keep your stress levels down.
3. Start Journaling
Journaling has truly been one of my favorite methods of relaxation and self-care. Pen and paper provide this space where you can just let it all out, close the journal and don’t even have to look back. Journaling is a very great way to let your emotions out or write positive affirmations to yourself. One of my favorite notebooks is the Knock Knock I Totally Got This Inner-Truth Journal, it can be purchased on Amazon for $18.00. I highly recommend purchasing this journal, it allows you to write simple reminders to yourself that you are able to accomplish anything that you set your mind to.
4. Take a Break & Remember It’s Okay to Say No
Take a break from working sometimes and it’s okay to tell people “NO”. You do not want to stretch yourself out too thin. It’s okay to relax and take a break. Always take at least a ten-minute break from your work and just do nothing, then go back to work. Lastly, It’s okay to have a lazy day every once in a while and just relax.
